The Guesthouse at Dynjandi Falls
The Only Guesthouse Near Dynjandi Waterfall, the crown jewel of the Westfjords
The Guesthouse at Dynjandi Falls, a former horse farm situated in the beautiful Westfjords of Iceland, offers over 4000 acres of pristine Icelandic beauty.
Located on Arnarfjörður, we are just one hour from Ísafjörður and 15 minutes from Dynjandi Falls
During your stay you will spot the seals lounging on the rocks at low tide or frolicking in the water.
The humpback whales usually arrive in October but the minke whales are around all summer.
In the fall you are likely to see the Northern Lights and the brilliant night sky.
The swan couples return every year to nest—they parade their ducklings in the fjord in the summer months.
Lupine fields, foxes and mink abound.
We offer miles of black sand beach and several hikes, including a 10km round trip hike to an iconic Icelandic lighthouse on the cliffs of our land.
Throughout the property you will find ancient structures, some dating back to the settlement era.
Owners Leslie and Greg are always on site to answer your questions.
